Once part of the Soviet empire, Ukraine has a rich and interesting history.

The country’s capital city, Kyiv, is home to many museums, religious sites, incredible architecture and more recently, an abundance of street art. Another city all visitors should visit is Odessa. Known as the pearl of the Black Sea it is home to many beaches. It was established as a city by Catherine the Great and, among other famous sights, boasts the Potemkin Steps, as well a mix of architectural styles: Art Nouveau; Renaissance and Classicist.

For those who want to explore the best of Ukraine’s nature head to the Carpathians. This huge mountain range is shared with Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Serbia and Romania and offers endless adventure. You can explore the scenery in a variety of ways including hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.
